We’re both passionate about real estate and all things home and garden. We’re the kind of people who used to drive around looking at homes for sale and open houses well before we came into this profession. We know very well the role that real estate can play in your dreams and plans for the future. So, helping you buy your home or showing off the home you have when you’re ready to sell is fun for us! We’re honored and grateful that we get to help clients while doing work that we love!
Steve

Steve spent 27 years in the nonprofit sector, working to promote public policies that improve the quality of life in our communities. He’s been an executive, economist, researcher, writer, consultant, and part-time professor. He currently teaches one class a year in public finance at McGeorge Law School. In his spare time he has chaired a city planning commission and served on boards and committees for chambers of commerce and other community groups. Recently, he’s been appointed by the Sacramento Association of Realtors to its Community Outreach Committee, helping to engage fellow Realtors in service and community improvement projects around Sacramento county.
Steve brings all of these skills to the table in serving as your advocate in the home buying and selling process. He loves to take a deep dive into statistics to tell you what comparable properties are worth, he understands how local government regulations and taxes can affect your property, he’ll research to answer questions you have about communities and neighborhoods, and he knows how to be your rock-solid advocate in negotiations. He might also offer some really cool landscaping advice!
When he’s not working, you’ll find Steve in the family garden, cycling the American River Parkway, hiking, woodworking, or just hanging out with Santia and the kids.
Santia

Santia has spent most of her adult life working to make her communities better through the arts. She co-founded and operated Center Stage Dance Studio, a nonprofit studio in Grass Valley. She is a long-time volunteer for the Nevada County Nutcracker, providing opportunities for children and adults to experience the magic of this holiday ballet tradition. Santia has enjoyed costuming for theatre productions, and won an Elly Award for costume design from the Sacramento Area Regional Theatre Alliance. She has a keen eye for blending beautiful design with practical function.
Santia’s artistic talents shine when she helps clients make staging and decor decisions prior to listing their home for sale. You might be surprised how great your own furnishings can look with a little reorganizing! She’s also great at helping buyers understand the possibilities for creating beautiful, comfortable interiors as they consider the homes we tour together. She is a dedicated and loyal advocate for you in securing the right home at the right price or selling your home quickly for top dollar.
Santia also loves to spend time in the garden, working on home improvement projects, beautifying spaces, traveling (especially when there’s an ocean involved), and getting quality time with Steve and the kids.
While our office is in Roseville, we love helping buyers and sellers all over our region, including into the foothills (we used to live in Nevada City). We currently live in Fair Oaks and have a special love for this beautiful community.
